Charlotte Ranous Robertson

Charlotte was born 1831/1832 in New York.  She lived in Fishkill, Dutchess, New York according to the 1850 Census. 

Charlotte Ranous, daughter of John Ranous (mother deceased) married William Robertson, Jr., son of William and Barbara Robertson. October 1, 1858 at the Somers Presbyterian Church. (Source:  Wisconsin Registration of Marriages)

Charlotte died February 4, 1861.  Buried at Oakwood Cemetery, Somers, Kenosha County.

Felch, Alson and family

1850 Federal Census (Town of Somers, Kenosha County)

Alson, age 38, born in New York June 10, 1813.  Parents Benjamin and Jerusha Sarah Steele Jackson Felch.  Died July 25, 1880 in Kenosha County.  Buried Oakwood Cemetery, Somers, Kenosha County.

Aurelia, age 39, born in Sardina, Erie County, New York on October 5, 1810.  Died July 2, 1854 in Sardina, Erie County, New York.  Buried Oakwood Cemetery, Somers, Kenosha County.  Aurelia was the daughter of John Boman Hosmer and Lura Abby Hosmer (Lura is also spelled Laura on 1851 Erie County Court records.)

Born May 2, 1837 in Somers, Kenosha County.  Married May 22, 1859 in Wisconsin.  Husband John Fisk Rogers.  Died August 1, 1878 in Racine.

    John Hosmer

Born December 25, 1838 in Somers, Kenosha.  Married February 14, 1867 to Amelia in Lawrence, Van Buren, Michigan.  Died 1895 in Amherst Junction, Portage County, Wisconsin.  Buried Greenwood Cemetery in Portage County.  

    Isaac Newton

Born February 10, 1843.  Educated at Hillsdale, Michigan College.  At eighteen years, he served in the Civil War and went to the front with Company K, 8th Wisconsin, and was with the famous Eagle regiment.  He served three years.  He returned to Racine and taught school in Mt. Pleasant, Racine County.  On October 19, 1866, he married Miss Mary Thomas at Port Byron, New York.  The came to Wisconsin and settled on a farm in Kenosha County for a time. He died in Racine and is buried in Oakwood Cemetery, Somers, Kenosha County.

    Mary Jerusha

Born January 14, 1845.  Died at the age of 71 in 1916.  Buried in Oakwood Cemetery, Somers, Kenosha County.

James Alson

Born May 4, 1847.  Died April 29, 1886.  Buried in Forest Cemetery, Portage County, Wisconsin.

Leon Thomas Felch

Son of Isaac Newton Felch and Mary Thomas

Born in Somers April 2, 1881.

Died June 22, 1959 at St. Mary's Hospital in Racine.  Buried at Oakwood Cemetery in Somers.

He was employed at S.C. Johnson & Son in 1946 and served for 40 years.  He also was a member of the First Baptist Church in Racine, Wisconsin.
